 Post subject: Can I paint NoZ tank ?

I have an 11lb woz tank is it safe to paint are there any markings on it I must not cover or will stop it from being filled. Best to check before I finish painting

If you paint it I would suggest masking out all the markings around the top so they stay clear. Then paint it satin black for best performance.

Off topic but was talking about you tonight Perry, a few of the MG guys I was out with saw you at the Pod last weekend, they liked, very much :yes:

To late iv done 1st coat of bright orange going to look like big bottle of Irn Bru

The old girl does raise a few eyebrows when she is on song :D
And after 7 years of trying I've managed to get the MG marque showing up in good numbers at the Pod. And nearly all of the MGB and Midget folk who turn up do get down to doing some runs on the day :)

Back to the main thread now... V8 has got me thinking about doing a couple of my bottles for show.
