Post subject:  pressure gauge question

hi guys.....about to fit my won pressure gauge....does the 5mm nylon pipe connector seal when tightened to the t piece that is supplied with gauge or is there soething else i need to do...cheers

im pretty sure when i fitted mine that was it, just that little washer ;)

thanks mate....altho there was no washer unless it was already in place...just a gauge and t piece

Some liquid sealer would help and full instructions are on our website - instruction manual page.

used liquid seal from bottle side but when 5mm pipe goes ot other side of t piece if i use liquid seal will it not be difficult to remove when removing pipe

ive used thread seal between bottle and t piece and t piece and gauge....but what i need to know is do i need washer between male 5mm pipe and female end of t piece ?

As shown in the above instructions, the sealing washer is for the gauge and as stated in the above instructions, NOTHING additional is needed to seal a pipe connection.

The seal is VERY small and is sent in a small plastic bag in with every gauge and unfortunately it's so small that many customer misplace it or don't even see its there. However as it isn't essential and if the gauge has sealed by just using sealer it shouldn't be needed.

its the 5mm nylon pipe from solenoid that goes to the t piece im concerned about..does that need washer as i need that to be loosened when i have to remove pipe for bottle refil...
