Just a quick question, to which I think I know the answer, so im really only after confirmation :)

The white wire (Throttle switch/ TPS), is the ground only to activate the Minimax or is this same ground used for solenoids too? I see the Minimax has its own ground which I would think is the heavy ground the solenoids.

Edit** Also, the Orange 12v feed, does this need to be heavy gauge wire? Or is it just to power the controller electronics?

Thanks

If I remember correctly
WHITE = Trigger
ORANGE = Hi current +ve
BLACK = Hi current -ve
BLUE = Hi current -ve control of pusloids.

So the orange wire to the Minimax needs to be heavy? but surely the high current +ve is from the arming switch? and the orange wire on the Minimax is low current?

Anyway its wired as such now and all appears to function, though I have yet to test it with fuel and nitrous through the solenoids. I just needed to get it wired up to be sure it worked as it was a little worse for wear :rolleyes:

The white just supplies a ground signal to the Minimax and should do nothing else.

The black needs to be capable of handling approx. 20 Amps.

The orange can be light duty.

Thanks for clearing that up Trev, I never thought to question it... thinking the -ve pulsoid feed (blue) had to be +ve matched by the same source - my mistake was seeing the controller as the source whereas I now see the source is actually the battery. Duh! :!:

So I'm now wondering how low the controller draw actually is through the orange and what the lowest fuse rating I can protect it with. I do have a 20A lined up for the minimax currently. (no pun intended :redface: )
