www.nitrousoxidesupplies.co.uk will deliver a large bottle to your door and we can supply you a refill system (cheaper than they do), if there isn't anyone local to fill it for you.

Does anyone use their mail order re-fill service? Why don't you do something like that to Trev?

We're the biggest consumer of motor related nitrous in the UK (and always have been), so we get a good discount.

It was my intention to work WITH a company to do that but why it didn't work out that way I'm not prepared to discuss, however I can tell you this, Nitrous supplies would NOT be in existance now if it hadn't been FOR ME!!!!

I'll leave you to figure it out from there.

Hi :)

Talking of Nitrous Oxide supplies....

Has anyone got a "bottle stand" kicking around they want to sell as they want around £60 to £70 for one...its the circular stand that you invert the 82 lb bottle onto...

All the best Brett :)

We designed a UNIQUE invertor (you may have seen it when you were up here) that also tells you what is left in the bottle and one day we intend to either have some made or sell the CAD drawing for customers to have their own made.

We also intend to design a cheap alternative to the type of stand you're talking about but it could be a few months more before we have time for that.

Hi :)

I would be interested in either as a group buy if it made it more economic :)

All the best Brett :)

Having rang around so much, I've realised that their aren't many places that can do your fill for a decent price in london... May have to develop my own filling station now for all the londoners! :P

I wonder if there'd be any interest??

Just wanted to say thanks for making this thread and thanks to all the people that have posted the locations of refill places. I thought there was bound to be none anywhere near me but then I looked at this thread and it turns out there's one just 45 mins away (it takes me over an hour to get to work each day so 45 mins is good for me :) )

is nitrous oxide supplies the best way to get a cheaper supply of nos?
im now completely hooked, and a 11lb bottle isnt going to last long :)
i dont have any problems of travelling to get a big bottle charged, work van sorts that

is there a home filling pump available, or is everyone just using the extra pressure in the big bottle to fill 11lb bottles?

Hi :)

Oops missed this thread...

Yes , Nitrous Oxide supplies is the cheapest, and it can cut your Nitrous costs roughly in half..

Pumps are expensive...so most use the pressure differential.

I personally use the Freezer method ...

Large bottle (82 lbs) inverted ....then take small (15lb lol) bottle and put in freezer for a couple of hours...

Then fill and the large temp/pressure difference will fill it VERY fast...

Hope this helps :)

All the best Brett :)

Hi :)

I think the bottle rental is around £6 a month...but check latest prices with them...

Brings the price for gas down to around £3.50 per lb ...ish...

All the best Brett :)

hi all

im about to open up shop soon and im offering refills, like brett says, pumps are expensive, so the freezer method is what ive been using. i have made my own cradle to turn bottles upside down and have had a company which deals with nitrogen refilling make my transfer line from me.
im in central norfolk, refills will be between 4-4.50 per lb

hope to meet/deal with all of you in the near future

I'm surprised you didn't order a filling kit from us as our price is much cheaper than any other company!!

Are you offering just fills or intending to offer our nitrous systems as well?

Are you currently using one of our systems and if so on what car?

My filling station works perfectly and makes filling easier specially at the track as I would need to take a freezer or open the valve and waste some gas, and we can fill other peoples at the track so making ours cheaper.
