Hi there , new to your site , lots of good info ,need to pick your brains !!!!
Welcome to my forum Scott.
I'd like to be able to assist you but in the main the differences between our systems and all others, make that extremely difficult. All other kits are so badly designed/made that ANY problem could have many causes, which makes it many times more difficult to solve than it would be if you had one of our systems. Wanted to keep the nos so i decided to put a fogger nozzle pre turbo with 50 hp jets ,
the rest system the same . Having problems with it leaning out !!!!
So i tried more fuel presure , tried the 100 hp fuel jet from plate system and 10 psi fuel pres.
First gear goes pig rich 10 to 1, second gear 12 to 1 , third /fourth 13.5 to 1 .
Checked fuel flow /filter , changed position of fogger ,checked solenoids , running out of ideas .
There are so many potential causes for such a problem, ranging from bad kit design to incorrectly fitted kit to external components (like the pump/regulator) performing badly, that it would take forever to run through them all.
Might I suggest that you consider purchasing a copy of my book, then you can work through the majority of potential problems to narrow it down a lot.http://www.noswizard.com/product_desc.php?id=97 Reading on this forum about problems with foggers , do you think i am having the same
mixing problems or some other issues i have over looked .
HolleyNOS did manufacture some bad Foggers which leaked nitrous in to the fuel system and that would cause the problem you're experiencing. I'd suggest that you dump the Fogger and try a NX nozzle instead and the reason I'm not suggesting our Crossfire instead, is because you can't fit a Crossfire without replacing the solenoids and the pipe work, as our components won't match up to US components.
