The original idea was to run build the intake manifold with two liquid cooled intercoolers.

I removed the intercoolers.

I would like to give you an exact date thats for sure but I am taking my time on this one. My goal expectations on this build is set pretty high so it has been two step forward and three steps back some times. The biggest challenge seems to be that there are no parts designed for this extreme goal that we have set. So with that said we have had to design and develope parts. With that said I belive that we have jumped over the last hurdle and can begain final assembly as soon as the blocks are off the CNC.

result 230 gram reduction per hole

Awesome pistons and I can't see those wrist pins ever breaking and the bottom end also looks indestructible. :salute:

If you can't give a time to be completed, I guess you can say how long you've been working on it so far?

Trev i have been on this build right at two years this month. We are on the down hill side of things for sure. It took several months just to aquire the sleeves.

then getting the machine work done

then several months of design work to add strengh to areas of the blocks that I can not share as of yet.
eight months to design an porduce the dry sump system

That's one mod I am surprised at (the sleeves), as I have other customers with similar engine types that are making less power than I know you plan to make, who have already had problems with the liners 'rocking' which has caused the head gaskets to fail.

To overcome this problem they have either had liners made with a top ring that reaches out to the block in appropriate locations or others have had allow top rings made to do the same job.

We have designed this block with special support that the sleeves will never move, shift or settle. The block is as close to bullet proof as you can get. We will also be O ringing the block and heads like we have done on the 2.5 blocks seen below. This has solved all head gasket issues.

The heads on this build spent many hours on the flow bench to achive the numbers we were looking for.
We also CNCed the combustion chambers to work with the new piston the we designed

Once we achived the flow numbers we had to designed the cams
Image
The heads had to be machined to clear for the extreme lift

Add Titianum valves and a custom valve springs and we have a set of heads
