Off to get the thing re-mapped, but how I miss the old ways.
Just turn the distributer and set with a strobe
My favourite was tuning Twin 40 Webbers using a piece of plastic tubing down the trumpet and listen until the note was right on all four.

Eyes and Ears

I agree, so much easier.

Had to leave car with the tuners, as I wanted my dial-in unichip re-programmed too.
It will be dyno'd too, so we'll have a new baseline.
Ready early next week.

Yes its back and a delight to drive once more.
The more I thrash it (I mean bed it in) the less it smokes, in fact there is none on start up anymore.
We will be be creating the NOS maps at the end of July and Dyno too.
I will not know if its any quicker until I can get to the Sep 4 RWYB.
