First i must thank Steve (rapidblue on here). On Saturday i broke a top arm on the Kitten and needed to straighten it and weld it back up. Steve was good enough to let me use his tools/welder at his house and run me back to Santa pod to put the Kitten back together on Saturday night ready for Sunday. Many many thanks

Previous best was set a few years ago at 11.83 and i've done quite few changes to the engine set-up since then so i started with lots of ign retard and running rich as a safe starting point and went from there. In sequence from the start of the day i got 11.82, 11.84, 11.75, 11.63, 11.55 and finally a 11.50 at 117mph. Very very pleased with the days progress, i've never managed to set a new PB one after another like that before! :bounce:  8)

I did one more run, but had to back out of it with a missfire in 3rd gear after getting my quickest 60' and 1/8th, back in the pits and i had a 3 cylinder engine :tard: Took the cylinder head off this afternoon and it's only a burnt valve, everthing else is fine and considering the heads not been off for several years it's nothing in the big scheme of what the engines done. Still happy with the results and while the heads off i'll give the valves/seats/clearances a good service/fettle. 8) :) :D

Ian
