Pels great idea to go out and blow the cobwebs off was great but as all we had were the tow cars - we took those.
Pel had his new truck and I had my old Octvia
My first run was 17.4 @ 82mph - not bad for a Diesel Family estate. Then Pel ran a 18.4 against me but I ran a 17.1 at 82mph (messed up the gear change)
What I hadnt told Pel was that I had rigged a 60 shot of nitrous!
Dont think Pel was TOO pleased when he found out but it only took off .3 of a second!
The track wasnt good and the bottle was at ambient temperature (3.5 degrees Cee) so I had trouble launching and trouble getting nitrous out of the bottle. I also had NO controller or TPS, I just took power out the cigarette lighter socket to a switch - the ultimate in low tech easy to hide nitrous installs.
