I want to fit won nitrous to my tdi and I have a few questions to ask you guys.
It's a seat ibiza 160tdi with a sachs clutch and a stage two hybrid turbo custom remap and makes between 245 bhp and 253 bhp and 370ftlbs depending on the dyno.
Now I understand the STD injectors are only good for 220bhp so I dont understand the high hp figures
What I do understand is the car is very smokey, I have a box I can plug in to the car that gives me three maps. I have a smokey map that I use for track days and dyno, a standard map and a clean map for the road.
Is it true that if I run a won system on the smokey map it will, a, make more power b, clean up the exhaust and c, bring the ex gas temp down?
Anyone any ideas what hp gains ?
I would like to run the nos through the fmic if poss is that ok?
I intend to have the car mapped with the nos so should I ask the mapper just to max the injectors out for full effect?
