ok my mum use to tell me i couldnt hold my own water, well its true i have just got to tell you all about this...ive installed my nitrous kit but im coming to WON for my first bottle fill oh yeah and to get me a switched live feed ,im hopeless it seems on that side of things, anyway most diesel owners have the dilemma of the extra fuel and on modern cars its the fooling the ecu marlarky thats the first port of call...right long story short ive just tested my new top secret box with a switch in car that can turn the system off and on for different degrees of over fueling ,if anyone has seen my posts i bang on about how clean my car is....the car on one of its setting gave me a right shove up the rev range no smoke then another setting gave me SMOKE.. thats it fellas bring on the nitrous, oh and the maker of this box is happy about nitrous and has given me a wire from the box that will give max setting when micro-switch is hit....how cool is that

do you own another tunings box also?

They say it will pull harder at low revs? does it?
My box does next to nothing below 2300rpm at 2500rpm it explodes kind of a pain driving with that :-( not even nos makes the low rev better because of lack of fuel :-(

my car had a remap years ago and i have to say its been faultless and has been a joy to drive (very quick) compared to the standard car...all i can say is i tried the box today on 2 settings one made it noticeable quicker mid range the other gave me black smoke so i backed off immediately something this car has never done,so im happy because its extra fuel im after and now the nitrous will something to work with ;)

so which engine sensor does it frig?
it cant change the map on the ecu because different manufactuers store the maps in different address locations
so its either adjusts the map or afm or the water temp signal

what was it wired into?

cheers, so it frigs the pressure sensor on the rail into increasing the fuel pressure lol

its all down to knowledge ted, knowing how much sensors change per psi in fuel pressure etc
but knowledge is power, and testing pressure sensors isnt most peoples bag so it might as well be the meaning of life for most
plus the knowledge of how to adjust electrical signals

im just a nerd who knows how to do these things ;)

Keep us updated on progress Ted!
Moo can advise on the elctronic stuff. I suppose whatever the box of tricks does it should be adjustable in some linear fashion so you can fine tune to the amount of gas you want? ie X increase in fuel pressure will match Y amount of nitrous etc..

I also agree very strongly with Moo!

He definately is a NERD

why havnt any made a small fuel rail pressure box that could work like an MF2? with a build in tuneable map.. maby an add to the maximisers.? So we could get the ekstre fuel by cheating the ecu..

Now i would like an t-shirt for that idear ;)
