Advice please peeps....the owner of this bmw e46 has positioned the nitrous jet in the rubber hose going from the intercooler to the inlet and im sure it works fine.. BUT alot of owners replace the egr valve with a straight thru piece like the one in the pic...does it seem like a great place to tap the nitrous nozzle into...be gentle with me im learning abit every day ;)

Just about anywhere on TDI works but after the inter cooler should produce best results.

Hi Trev care to explain why or how do you say this? What is the downside of installing a jet pre turbo?

Thanks

Hi RRL,

Sorry I missed your post at the time you made it.

The reason it's NOT as beneficial to inject ANYWHERE but AFTER the intercooler, is that the nitrous will exchange heat with the cooler itself rather than mainly the aircharge and that's the last thing you want to do.

Having said that we have had 'decent' results by injecting BEFORE the intercooler but I'm still CERTAIN the results woul have been better if it had been after the cooler.
