Despite having to get to grips with a whole new chassis set up all year and being approx. 1/2 sec off their previous PB's, the Fat Boys won this weekends event and came 2nd in the Street Eliminator championship, so MANY congratulations to the whole team and with a bit of luck they'll be back to their best form next year.

To add to the WON impact on the Street Eliminator class results, Stuart Williams took 4th place in the Championship in his pocket rocket (relatively speaking as it's the only none V8 in the class) Toyota Supra, as well as Champion in the JDS Fac Mod class, so double congratulations for such achievements in his first serious year of racing.
For next season Stuart is building an even more impressive car (which will have a more impressive WON system than this year), so we look forward to seeing that produce even better results early next year.

Just a shame that Ron Haslett wasn't up there with these guys but hopefully he'll have better luck next year.

Hello guys were still here. yes a very well done to both Fatty and Stuart. As for us we still haven't got the block and crank back from getting the both repaired. We suffered badly from tyre shake at Bug Jam in July. it was so bad as a result we had both rear wheels buckled, every fixing thoughout the drive train come loose and the oil pick up come undone which in turn dropped down onto the sump staring the crank of oil. the result one bent crank and number 2 main bearing cap distorted. So next bearing caps block machined and line honed, as well as the repairs to the crank and needing new wheels + tyres. On top of the 4 sets of pistons this year. I thought enough is enough.
We are taking time out to build a new car, which is a 1941 Willy's Coupe. I will have the new light weight body this week. the chassis is going to be Chromoly to Promod 25.1 spec. (6.0 seconds) We are aiming to get the new car down to 2800lbs which is a weight saving of around 600lb.

stay tunned to our web site as I intend to do the full build on that and face book.
