This result is not going to knock your socks off but considering it was his first attempt at the standing mile and it's in the UK, plus the bike is entirely stock apart from the swinging arm, it's quite an achievement. So it's many congratulation to Steve Bland for winning the Best Newcomer award this past weekend with a 204 mph terminal, using just a fixed hit WON system which was shut off for the last 2 gears, because the bike was misfiring, which means there's plenty more to come. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWUKtqNVQVY |
