This is a 'little' premature but excluding some major disaster befalling Ian Hook he 'should' become this years Street Eliminator Champion.
Due to the unexpected entries of John Sleath and Colin Lazenby in conjunction with the Fat Boys continued troubles with the handling, Ian exited this weekends Pod event in the semi finals and posted the following assessment of his current situation;
"Hmm, well that didn't work! The '34 was really loaded for bear but turned hard left on the start line - I HAD to come out of it handing the win to John and ending our Euros meeting at the semi-final. I guess an anti-roll bar isn't the answer! On the plus side Brian Payne has also gone out meaning were all, to all intents, 2010 STREET ELIMINATOR CHAMPIONS. All we have to do is turn up and sign on for the National Finals to dot the "i"s and cross the "t"s by collecting the 200 point all rounds attendance bonus. The car is fine (just doesn't handle!) so there is no issue in regard to our attendance at the final 2010 meeting. So, a massive thank you to all of you for your support again this year. We will continue to work on the chassis as the car has the potential to be REALLY fast if we can only make it handle".
