At last we have an American car customer running class record times and doing well in racing with a WON system.
I'm not going to disclose his name or pics of his car just yet but I will do ASAP.
He's in the process of switching from Speedtech to WON and is currently using both on his car at the same time, as he wants to make a smooth transition from one to the other.
He's running in Outlaw 10.5 (one class down from Pro Mod), which he tells me is now capped at 4.6 secs (1/8 mile) and he's just run a string of passes between 4.67 and 4.63 secs. In a recent event he was
runner up with an identical time to the winner and only lost on reaction time.
The following is an extract from his recent email where he compares the WON power delivery to that of his Speedtech kit;
"The runs were very smooth on take off. There was no yanking the car off the starting line. And riding the wheelie bars for quite some time is pretty cool too". These results were achieved at his first event recently, so we expect to see him running 4.60s at the next event.
