Hi guys...i got a small dragbike with a 125cc kart engine...and i was thinking to equip it with nitrous.
Before doing all that work,i wanted some advice about how i have to change my engine to work properly with nitrous.
Up to certain levels you shouldn't need to modify the engine.
At the moment it runs 14:1 compression...i have to drop it?
Only if you intend to add a large amount of nitrous.
Than...i'm already using race fuel, VP C12....is that good?
That will be fine.
I have to retard my ignition,or i can use it with stock values?
You don't need to retard the timing until you start adding big amounts of nitrous.
As i read on the net,the fuel jets have to be larger than a four stroke,is that right?
That depends on how the oil is added to the engine. If you have to add oil to your petrol, then yes you need a bigger nitrous system fuel jet.
How much?
That will be determined at the time you make your purchase.
And last question, i have to spray fuel+oil with nitrous,or just fuel with no more oil?
If you have a oil pump and don't mix oil with the nitrous, then you don't need to alter the jet ratio from normal and you don't have to add oil.
Thank to everyone who can help me fixing my doubt about it!
